Completely original from concept to creation, we welcome Michelle Clark from Burnished to the market for the very first time. Michelle makes sterling silver jewellery into earrings, necklaces, cuffs, brooches, cuff-links and rings, beautiful products and just a little bit different, which we think is a good thing!

The Spoon Savvy stall was rather a hit when it debuted at the market earlier this year. Fantastic old spoons, some dainty and decorative, some chunky and striking, cleverly fashioned into rings...repurposing at its very best! Welcome back Angela just in time, to provide us all with a bit of Springtime spoon bling!

The incredibly talented Karin Beaumont joins us with her range of jewels inspired by Antarctic creatures. Karin, apart from making these beautiful statemental pieces, is also an Antarctic scientist, and her work has a beautiful clean precision to it which we love. Our pick for Spring? One of her stunning Aluma Cuffs, complete with packaging which contains the story about the microscopic creature that inspired the design...now that’s original.

Brooke from Bees Tees joins us with her lovely range of children’s clothing. Perfectly chosen colours and designs, for cute as a button cute style for little people. We love the details, the pretty capped sleeves and the little owl perched in his leafy tree!

Neigh! It’s The Naughty Pony, with their clever collection of jewellery crafted from reclaimed/recycled vintage typewriter keys and scrabble pieces. The typewriter keys are sourced from second hand shops near and far and usually from around the 1920’s (we love a bit of vintage!) Each piece is made, with love, by Rachel Dean in her Peninsula based studio.

Adorable...a little patterned rainbow holder to keep all your pencils safe. We love these beautifully made pencil cases from Loopee designs, just the thing for taking with you on a Spring picnic or just for keeping messy stationery in perfect colour coded order !

Black Eyed Susie began as a little enterprise born of Suse’s rather expensive addiction to fabric shopping and her desire to dress her daughter in quality clothing made with love and care. We love the look and feel of Black Eyed Susie wares, they are perfectly adorable and the materials and workmanship of a seriously high quality...check out these tiny soft little shoes, just amazing.

Hand bags, glorious hand bags, looking for a new home or a springtime romance! These first timers at the market are made by Sonja Cook and constructed from leather, fabric, wool and sometimes other sneaky little surprises in the form of repurposed items Sonja finds. These bags have all the extra bits and pieces necessary for making them sensible as well as lovely to look at...extra pockets, spaces for your mobile and nice adjustable shoulder straps.

We always love seeing what treats the Jasmine Rose stall will have on offer. For Spring we’re looking forward to a bevvy of the beautiful and the useful, like fun robot shaped blackboard wall stickers, for remembering important things ....like coming to the market on Sunday 13th !

We love Anna Jayne’s bright and joyful range of children’s wares... particularly her super fun spotty red bag for Spring! Most importantly where little ones are concerned, these products are not only gorgeous but incredibly well sewn, which makes them durable and hard wearing, practical and pretty, it’s win win really!

Welcome to our {spring} market

sunday 13th november, 10am - 3pm

Welcome everybody to our super sprightly spring event. The Spring flowers are out, the sun is shining (well, sometimes it makes an appearance) and we have a brilliant seasonal showcase ready to spring upon Hobart on Nov 13th.

Our specially selected stall holders have been as busy as bumble bees, creating fun new products and designs for Spring, and as always, we have some exciting new talent debuting at the market. Plenty of colour peeping up from our designers this time round too, which is lovely to see, and a huge variety of stalls to cater for all sorts of shoppers.

Wonderful and fun Spring styled accessories have a nice strong presence on Nov 13th, including the oh so talented Megan Perkins joining us for the first time, with her gorgeous honeycomb styled jewellery, we can’t wait to see this stall. The ever popular duo from Little Twig will be taking over our entrance area with their pretty and pared back selection of earrings, brooches, stationery and other twiglike offerings. We love how their designs are a little bit whimsical, a little bit dainty and in just the right ready to wear colours.

We’re looking forward to checking out all the beautiful stationery on offer too, especially handy for all those events and occasions that become much more frequent over the warmer months. We’ve even spotted a few Christmas designs sneaking in (for people who fancy being nice and organised!) A generous selection of quality children’s ware at this market too, with clothing, softies, and everything in between to cover everything a little one might need for Spring!

Also if you’re a sweet tooth, or need a nice little gift for a friend who is, we have beautiful jars of organic honey, cupcakes (yes please) and, Macarons by Ruby joins us with her terribly tempting flavours like boysenberry, salted caramel and black forest...something tells us these will fly out the door, or at very least, upstairs to the lounge, where you can feast on them with a coffee, while taking in the Sunday papers. Of course we have our fabulous top ten stall holders upstairs too, keep an eye out for some blog love in the next few days for a sneak peek of who will be featured up there this month.

And perhaps you fancy winning a $100 voucher to spend at our Christmas markets? Trust us, you definitely do! Our little competition will be running upstairs also, if you’re feeling lucky.

Bree from Mondo Mama's Kitchen is back for Nov, with what might just be her most mouth-watering menu to date, check it out in all its scrumptious glory.

Hope you’re all as excited as we are about our Spring festivities, we look forward to seeing you on the 13th for what we think is our best seasonal showcase so far!
