Welcome to our {winter} market...

sunday 14 august, 10 - 3

Rug up in your winter woollens, and snuggle along to our winter event on the 14th August, we promise to at the very least, warm your heart with our seasonal selection of perfect products, winter wares and inspired designs.

We like to think the market really shines in the cooler months, we have a lovely inviting indoor space, a cosy lounge to share a coffee + the Sunday papers with a friend, not to mention over 30 of the state’s best artists, designers and makers - handpicked to provide you with the best local treats for the season. Visiting us is just the thing to do on a Wintry day! Exhibiting at this market we have some special new stalls, and some favourite old friends, who haven’t been at the market for a little while and we just can’t wait to see what they’ve been making in the meantime!

Taking over our entrance area are the coveted goodies from the duo at Hideyo, We have given them plenty of space to display some brand new product lines they are adding to their beautifully simple + stylish collection of homewares. Apart from being beautiful, Maya + Sam’s products have a strong eco - friendly and recycled focus, which of course, makes their wares even more endearing. We particularly love their origami flowers, and decorative hanging paper balls, in lovely vintage style papers.

Plenty of other special things await you inside the temple, to help you through the last month of the Hobart winter. We have organic tea and soap, some pretty pots of jam and lots of snuggly softies, handmade locally of course, and with designs ranging from the super sweet to the quirkily different. Accessories make an appearance in all shapes and sizes, and colours too! Bags, bracelets, necklaces, purses and rings will all be on show in neutral hues or bright pops of colour to cheer up a cold Winter’s day!

Wonderful prints and art along with lots of lovely stationery from a selection of local designers will keep you inspired, and ceramics, books and children’s clothing will have you sorted in the presents department!

Make sure you remember to pop upstairs, as we have ten fabulous stalls up there (keep an eye out for sneak peeks of exactly who in the coming days!) Also, our very popular seasonal competition, where you can win $100 voucher for our next event!

Also....back by popular demand for this market, we have Meg from Patisserie Antoinette, with more of her oh so delicious macarons, that sold out in a flash at our Autumn event. So moreish, and since they’re only small you can treat yourself to two...or perhaps even three, with your coffee.

We look forward to seeing you on the 14th to celebrate our Winter event, and the local talent who make it (despite the freezing temperatures and the snow) such a vibrant and exciting season in Hobart.

Shannon + Holly :o)
