Date: Sunday 6th September
Venue: Masonic Temple (3 Sandy Bay Rd)
Time: 10am -3pm
The sunshine is back, flowers are popping up, and so is the market, complete with all your favourites, and some newly discovered people and products! To celebrate all things sunshine and flowers, we have a lovely and varied line up of stall holders for our very first Spring Market. The market No 6 is on this Sunday (Father’s Day), and once again, we’ve gathered a brilliant bunch of locally designed and made art, accessories, lighting design, food, stationery, kid’s wares, and lots more wonderful things!
An exciting and eclectic mix of products will greet you in the entrance of the temple. Red Wren’s divine screen printed wares, the vibrantly stunning prints and paper products from Phat Flats, and the quirky robot offerings from HiiRagi.
And what a feast of accessory and adornment makers we’ve put together for you! Just to name a few…Little Lari (check out mini interview below) Selena de Carallo, and her dark and beautiful designs, the gorgeous Gilded Pony, and the ever popular (and changing!) Cube Art and Design stall. Make sure you check out the elegant Jenny Mills Jewellery, and the beautiful designs from Oceanides…amazing! The very talented Kyomi Reid from Sashiko also makes an appearance, with her intricately hand - crafted range of bags and accessories.
We think our stationery stall holders are particularly clever, and it’s beautiful to buy a special card for a special someone, from the special designer that’s actually designed and made the card! This month we bring you the brilliant new school designs from White Paper, and the charming old school printing methods of Ruby Victoria Letterpress…along with a few more exciting stalls, like Emma Kimpton, and the very popular Little Twig…something for everyone, we think!
Tutus! Wild Creations hand makes each and every one especially for little people, and they are seriously the cutest thing you’ve ever seen…Also for little people we have the lovely Millymakers, Speckled Frog and more.
If you have a sweet tooth…we have cupcakes…AMAZING cupcakes, and some new sweet treats (locally made of course) along with jam’s, fig tree muesli (see the interview with the lovely Christine below), and delicious coffee, and fresh flowers!
And that almost rounds up our little taste test of the September Market, we sure hope you can come along on Sunday, and meet some of the state's most talented and creative bunch of people!
Happy Spring!
Bec, Shannon and Holly :0)
